Term 02 Mock Exams

Students in Year 10, 11, 12 & 13 will be sitting public examinations this academic year. In order to prepare students for these examination this term we will be holding mock exams to prepare student. The mock exams are designed to allow students to:

  • experience the full length of the paper to help them to develop timings

  • become familiar with the exam venues to reduce anxieties

  • raise awareness of key areas of development will will allow them to prioritise topics of revision

We have outline the proposed mock exam timetable below:

Week 1 (W/C 08 November)

Sixth Form Examinations

Morning Examinations

  • Students must be onsite no later than 08:30

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 08:45 where students will be registered


Afternoon Examinations

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 14:45 where students will be registered

Week 2 (W/C 15 November)

Year 11 Examinations

Period 0/5

  • During this week, Period 0 and Period 5 sessions will not be taking place to allow student more time to revise for their exams.


Morning Examinations

  • Students must be onsite no later than 08:30

  • Students must go their Period 1 lesson where they will be registered by their teachers

  • Student will then be brought to the courtyard where final checks will take place before they enter the exam hall


Afternoon Examinations

  • Students will go to their Period 4 lesson where they will be registered

  • Student will then be brought to the courtyard where final checks will take place before they enter the exam hall



Sixth Form Examinations

  • Students must be onsite no later than 08:30

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 08:45 where students will be registered


Afternoon Examinations

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 14:45 where students will be registered

Week 3 (W/C 22 November)

  • Students must be onsite no later than 08:30

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 08:45 where students will be registered


Afternoon Examinations

  • Students must go straight to the courtyard at 14:45 where students will be registered


Year 10 Examinations

  • Students will go to their Period 4 lesson where they will be registered

  • Student will then be brought to the courtyard where final checks will take place before they enter the exam hall

  • Students that do not have Sports Science during this time will be sent to the courtyard once the register has been taken.
