We've made it through the first week of June, while we still have three weeks to go, you should each be proud of all that you have been able to conquer this school year (really the last two and a half). To say that it was tough is an understatement, some days seemed like they were never going to end, but you showed up and pushed through and for that you should be proud! We hope each of you have an amazing summer and are able to relax and recharge. We look forward to tackling next year and resetting the expectations we had in the past and really getting this back to normal. Thank you for all you do!

Ariana Matthews (Southern HS) - Ms. Matthews has done an awesome job this year with her dance classes and dance company. Both dance concerts were amazing this year and it goes to show in her preparation and passion for dance and her students. SHS is lucky to have you! ~Jeff Repass Ariana is a passionate, creative, energetic, and committed dance teacher. She teaches multiple dance courses, companies, and AVID; implementing engaging and differentiated instructional strategies. ~Elissa Mango

The Voluntary Transfer Process
It's that time of year where we see vacancies and program growth opportunities.
As a professional courtesy, please do not hesitate to reach out if you are considering/interested in a change or there is discussion of program growth.
If you choose to participate in the voluntary transfer process, please be sure to visit HR navigator https://intranet.aacps.org/Dept/HR/Pages/InternalVacancies.aspx to view/apply for open positions. You should begin to regularly check the portal in March. Don’t rely on the notifications you set to alert you to vacancies that you might be interested in pursuing – I’ve been told they are not reliable.
March 1- Voluntary Transfer process begins
April 15- Resignation deadline for Unit I 10-month employees in order to retain benefits through August
May 1- Non-tenured resignation deadline
July 1- Tenured resignation deadline
July 31- Voluntary Transfer process ends
