December is here! It feels like yesterday that we were all together at Severna Park High School to kick off the start of the year! We hope your year is off to a great start and appreciate all that you do! We are here for you, so please let us know how we can support you as you strive to get 1% better every day!

2023 Assessment and Curriculum Writing
Academy Initiative
The Curriculum Writing Academy is BACK and we hope you will consider applying!
Courses being updated this year include:
Health - Middle School Health, Health A, and Health B
Physical Education - PE Grade 4 and HS Fitness for Life
Dance - HS Honors Dance Company
The schedule for AWCIA is slightly different than last year and is outlined below:
Interested? Not sure if you can commit? There is some flexibility in the number of hours for pre-writing and the actual number of days of in-person academy and we will finalize as soon as our teams are solidified.
New to curriculum writing? This is a great opportunity to work with your colleagues from across the county and to make some extra money as well! If you are interested in learning more about the process, please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on the team!
