Common questions:
Will mosquito nets be available? Yes, often, but if you want to be sure, plan on bringing your own.
What do I do for cash? You may be able to use a VISA or Mastercard, you most likely can't use American Express or Discover. You need newer (2017+) $100 bills for the best exchange rate. These bills can not be damaged, written on, or cut.
Do I need to bring an adapter for my electronics? Yes, the outlets in Nigeria are different - type G. You will need an adapter and a need a voltage converter if planning on using any 110 volt devises.
What would you recommend to bring? You will likely have 2 luggage bags, you can use one for your personal stuff and the other one for things that will ultimately stay - gives you an empty luggage for souvenirs on the way back. Bring: PPE, gloves, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, thermometer, pulse ox, , stethoscope, things to write, computer, reading material, umbrella, rain jacket, First aid kit, Oto/ophthalmoscope (if you have one), slash-proof bag, a few locks to lock your stuff)
