Advocacy and Border Health

Objectives:
To increase learner’s knowledge and comprehension about factors impacting the health and access to care of individual, family, and community health.
To increase understanding and ability to apply factors impacting patient, family, and community health to targeted health issues and planning for care overall.
Participate in the delivery of health care on the border with approved clinical supervision.
Reflect and teach on the impact that culture, political systems and lifestyles have on the standards and accessibility of health care.
