Just a few notes for you as you drag yourself out of the holidays.

Your class blogs are now live on the school website so expect a bit of traffic over the next few days #update

Year 3-6 teachers will be getting invites to edit student blogs, please accept these so they link to your blogger account. #workingonit

Chromebooks and Ipads will be available from the beginning of Week 2. I'll let you know when you can collect your lot from me. You'll sign for the devices you take and you'll be responsible for them over the year. #dontswap

Luke will be in tomorrow (Thursday) at 1pm. If you need him to sort anything with your teacher laptop please have it ready with a note after lunch. #noticketrequired

Some things to try this year

• Get Google certified. This isn't too painful and can be chipped away at over time. You'll reinforce your skills on the Google apps we use and also learn a bit about the ones we aren't making use of. Find out more here.
• Start or continue your online conversations via social networking. Use Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, the VLN, Google+ it doesn't matter what you use, getting connected is what matters.
• Choose one of our core Ipad apps or Google tools to learn and use with your students. Use something new!
• Keep your online portfolio up to date to reflect on your teaching.
• Target some professional learning to undertake
