School magazine

Here's the information about this year's school Magazine. Remember it needs to be saved as an A4 pdf in the St Mary's magazine 2017 folder no later than Monday Nov. 27th. I will be putting together the magazine on Tuesday 28th.

School owned ICT Devices

These will be getting collected in during Week 8. I will circulate the lists of hardware you have. Please make sure you are organised and ready for this.

## There is no guarantee that you will get the same devices next year, so make sure you save any photos or other files you want to keep.

Hour of code

The hour of code is fast approaching, December 4-10. I have registered our school so now we have to take part. I'll share more resources and ideas soon. This is great chance to try something different and to enable your students to give programming a go.

Google Drive folder icons

This is a simple and easy way to add icons to your Drive folder names.

The first thing you need to do is open your Drive and identify a folder that you would like to add a symbol or emoji to.
Make sure the symbol you select is something that helps you remember the contents of the folder. All that matters is that your icon makes sense to you.
Once you have selected your folder, navigate to one of the sites below, select the symbol you want to use, copy it, edit the name of the folder then paste the icon into the box where the folder name appears.
