The second Monday of Term 4 (22 October). Please get started early to avoid rushing at the last minute. Below are the guidelines and some links to pages from previous years. You can use whatever programme you want but your finished pages need to be A4 PDF portrait.
Here's the details:
I will share a doc where you can sign up to produce the pages for the areas that you are involved in. I am collating the magazine not making it.
Here is a presentation I have used with students to help with a bit of design thinking.
I will arrange some times to support anyone who wants some help designing and making their pages.
Please do not be offended if you get your page back to make alterations and please have your pages done on time.
A folder named St Mary's magazine 2018 has been shared with you, add your completed pages to this folder.
As with other years there are a number of groups, clubs and events that need pages made, please take charge and do an extra page if you've been involved with a particular group. Sign up on the doc above.
Do you use Preview on your Mac for viewing and working with PDFs? If you aren't then I reckon you're missing out. I often use preview for combining PDFs easily and it's also really easy for marking up documents. Click on the link below to see the power of Preview.

If you sometimes find people talking a different language when it comes to digital tools you might want to sign up for Digital Suitcase. Developed by the Tech Futures lab in Auckland it uncovers all the jargon - blockchain, Ar, AR, MR (what is that anyway). Click on the link to the right to learn more.
You can chromecast your laptop to the hall projector. It seems to be pretty stable, just use the projector remote to choose HDMI2 and then cast from Google Chrome on your laptop. The sound comes through if you cast a tab but not if you cast the desktop.
