October Weekend a Success

Good Afternoon,Thank you for attending the Literacy in the Content Areas Weekend. I hope you were able to walk away with one new idea you can use in your classroom, or were, as I was, inspired by your colleagues. Thank you for sharing your expertise.

I am attaching to this email the Agenda with all the links. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions. Beginning next week we will use the new form created by SUNY. I encourage you to let us know if there is anything we can do to streamline this process. I include in this email the message from Josephine:

    • The new version of the tally-of-hours form is being distributed to individual Sites this week and next. Please note a name change: Master Teacher engagement with MTP-PD not a log of hours. Lots of drop-down menus, leaving the titles of the PD and their reflection section open.
      • Thank you for all the please do’s/please don’t’s. Keep the comments coming. There will inevitably be an adjustment period; my plan is to learn about the SC, the MT and the office staff experience during this adjustment period. We can still make “tweaks” behind the curtain. Thank you for engaging in this process.
