Halting Hades: The Moral Imperative

Last year I was able to construct a fantastic STEAM project for my AP Environmental science students. I had a very unique set of circumstances that I could not ignore. The first of those circumstances was that I had a very talented class of students. Second, my school district was 100% supportive. And finally, our school had some funding (for a limited time only) that I applied for to help with equipment and travel.
When faced with these three facts, I was more than compelled to jump outside my "teach-to-the-test" comfort zone. We traveled to Vermont and New York City and filmed over 30 hours of video and I reduced that effort to three (63 minute each) films. The first is Halting Hades: The Moral Imperative.
I have entered this first film into the Tribeca Film Festival. So, it has been sequestered until 2017. The first film will begin screenings in January 2017 and then released shortly after the screenings.
