Planning Commission -Draft

Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM.

Minutes from May 8, 2023

Since we did not have a quorum of members from the May meeting, we could not approve the minutes.  We will approve them at the August meeting. 

Planning Commission Membership

The PC welcomed Wilbur Rice as our newest commissioner.

Public Hearing for 2022/23 Zoning Revisions

Peterson started to review the proposed changes that the Planning Commission (PC) wants to finalize and send to the Selectboard (SB) for its public hearings.  Then, Ms. Carroccio told us that she could not access the documents that had been attached to the meeting warning. Peterson later confirmed that someone who was not explicitly invited to the meeting on Calendar (i.e. all Town residents who are not PC members) could not access the documents.

Therefore, the meeting could not be considered properly warned and we ended the meeting, as its sole purpose was to hold the public hearing on the proposed zoning changes.

Peterson will contact the Town Manager to fix the access issue, so that we can hold the public hearing at our August 14 meeting.

Peterson adjourned the meeting using unanimous consent at 7:27 p.m.

The next meeting will be on August 14 at 7:00 pm
