Unable to Match Tutor in Pair or Assign to Group

The tutor status is not a valid status for matching

If Prospective, either:

• • Manually update tutor status from Prospective to Waiting. Waiting allows you to bypass the business rules related to other statuses and automatically match the tutor in a pair or assign them to a group.

    1. Open the tutor record

    2. Go to the Tutor Data>Key Info panels

    3. Change Overall Status from Prospective to Waiting

    4. Click Save in the bottom right hand corner

    5. Match or assign tutor

• • Enroll the tutor in a Workshop with the Workshop Type “New Tutor Training” and successfully complete them to obtain an Overall Status of Graduated

    1. Create or locate a Workshop with the Workshop Type “New Tutor Training.”

    2. Enroll the Prospective tutor in the workshop

    3. Enter hours and days of attendance sufficient to meet the required Minimum Number of Days and/or Minimum Number of Hours fields for the workshop (bearing in mind that these requirements can be 0 and can be edited if necessary)

    4. In the Enrollment panel, enrolled tutors display a column called “Met Requirement.” If N, they have not met the requirements for minimum days/hours. If Y, they have met the requirements and can be successfully completed from the workshop.

    5. Exit the tutor from the workshop using the “Complete” button

    6. Locate the tutor record in the Tutor grid and insure the Overall Status is Graduated

    7. Match or assign tutor
