Duplicate Student - Error Message when Deleting

Student is matched in a student/tutor pair

Student records cannot be deleted if there is pair data remaining, as it can leave “orphan” records in the pair or tutor file associated with that student. To delete a student with a pair record:

• 1. Locate the Pair record by viewing the Enrollments panel of the student record. Use the hyperlinks to access any Enrollment Type “Pair.” –OR—

  2. Go to the Pair grid and locate the Pair record by filtering based on the student name.

  3. From the Pair record, delete any hours from the Attendance tab.  You can do this by putting a check in the box to the left of each hours record (or check the box in the upper left corner of the hours grid to check each record) and then clicking the Delete button

  4. Once all hours have been deleted, go to the Pair Data tab in the Pair record.

  5. Change the status of the Pair to Dissolved.

  6. Delete the Pair record using the DELETE PAIR RECORD LINK at the top of the Pair record.

  7. Repeat, if needed, to delete all pair records for the student.

  8. Delete the student record.
