ThorlabsLTS device user manual

Introduction:

Install and run ThorlabsLTS device on new computer.

Procedure:

Steps to install kinesis software:

1. Click on the link shown below:

There are 3 options available

First 2 available for 32 and 64 bit operating system. Third option does not support labview (32 bit) software.

2. Click on download button.

3. Download setup file and install it.

4. Setup will extract files.

5.Click on Next.

6. Accept license agreement

7. Write information.

8. Select Complete option.

9.Click on install.

10. Click on Finish

Steps to run device:

Follow steps 1 and 2 if the device type is not already in your database

1. Follow steps of Add/Edit new device type

2. Enter Name “ThrolabsLTS” and Relative Path “ThorLabsLTS\ThorLabLTS.lvclass” and click on create/Modify Devicetype.

3.Then Add New ThorlabsLTS150M Device by following steps of Create New Device and Launch New Device

4. Modify Devicetype Variable for ThorlabsLTS150M device

5. Launch local GUI from master control

Important Notes:

1. Devicetype variable are general for all devices. These devicetype variables should not be edited by user. Create new device variable for individual devices. Devicetype variables are used by GEECS system when device variable is not SET.
