PowerSupply_PS300

Introduction:

Install and run PowerSupply_PS300 device on new computer.

Important Notes:

GPIB Configuration:

1. Open NI MAX.

2. Right click on Device and Interface, select Create New.

2. Select GPIB-ENET/1000.

3. If your GPIB device is SCPI-compliant, the name and address appear in the lower main window once the instrument scan is complete.

3. MAX creates the necessary resources for VISA communication with your GPIB instrument.

4. Tools >> NI-VISA >> VISA Interactive Control

5. Select GPIB instrumet from VISA Interactive control.

6. With this test panel, you can set properties for your instrument communication as well as read and write instrument.

Procedure:

Steps to run device:

Follow steps 1 and 2 if the device type is not already in your database

1. Follow steps of Add/Edit new device type

2. Enter Name “PowerSupply_PS300” and Relative Path “PowerSupply_PS300\PowerSupply_PS300.lvclass” and click on create/Modify Devicetype.

4. Modify Devicetype Variable for PS300 device
