GlassmanEK40R15

Introduction:

Install and run GlassmanEK40R15 device on new computer.

Important Notes:

1. Turn on the power on the glassman and press the HV enable button to be able to control the glassman through a device. Make sure the jumbers from the connector on the back of the glassman are removed.Refer to manual to find out which jumpers to remove.

2. A Null Modem Serial Cable is required. The unit may have to be power cycled for communication to work properly.

Procedure:

Steps to run device:

Follow steps 1 and 2 if the device type is not already in your database

1. Follow steps of Add/Edit new device type

2. Enter Name “GlassmanEK40R15” and Relative Path “GlassmanEK40R15\GlassmanEK40R15.lvclass” and click on create/Modify Devicetype.

3.Then Add New PL1-GlassmanHV Device by following steps of Create New Device and Launch New Device

GUI exe path "\General GUIs\Device GUIs\GUI_GlassmanEK40R15\GUI_GlassmanEK40R15.exe"

4. Modify Devicetype Variable for PL1-GlassmanHV device

5. Launch local GUI from master control

6. PL1-GlassmanHV_GUI will open.

7. User can also set Devicetype variable values from PL1-GlassmanHV_GUI.
