Prof KANG receives 2011 Hanbit Award (한빛대상) on Sept 29

Professor KANG Changwon is elected to receive the 2011 Hanbit Award (한빛대상) by Daejeon MBC (Munwha Broadcasting Company). Every year since 2005, an awardee is selected for each of six categories (과학기술, 문화예술체육, 사회봉사, 지역경제발전, 효행다문화, 특별상), and receives a prize of 10 million Won (supported by Hanwha Group). Professor Kang receives the 2011 Hanbit Award of Science and Technology Category. The award ceremony will be held on September 29th Thursday from 18:50 PM in the auditorium of Daejeon MBC for an hour, and aired live on MBC-TV. There will be a reception party on the first floor lobby after the ceremony.
