Dr. Hyoungseok Ju receiving a Bioneer Award on March 2

Dr. Ju, Hyoungseok is elected to receive a Bioneer Award from KAIST Department of Biological Sciences. Congratulations. He is one of the four award recipients this year. The awards are conferred in the 9th Bioneer Award Ceremony held in the BMRC building auditorium on 16:00 PM, March 2, 2010. Every year since 2002, Bioneer Awards are given to graduate students or postdocs who contributed to patent intellectual properties of the department, and the prize money (a total of 5 million Won each year) is donated by the Bioneer Corp. (president Han-Oh Park). Dr. Ju made major contributions to the two patents on genetic markers of gastric cancer susceptibility that were filed last year.
