Elected for Top 100 Achievements of National R&D

Prof. Kang received an Award of the Top 100 Achievements of 2010 National Research and Development (2010년 국가연구개발 우수성과 100선) on December 6. Recognized was Kwangwoo Kim's discovery of genetic association of interferon gamma with lupus susceptibility that was published on Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases (the EULAR journal) this year. The best 100 works were selected among over 20,000 R&D projects supported by all government ministries this year.

The Kwangwoo's work has been additionally selected for the Best 100 Achievements of 2010 Basic Research (2010 기초연구 우수성과 100선) on August 17 and recognized on October 26 by the Korea Research Foundation.
