Japanese patent granted on ADHD model mouse [11.25]

A patent for the GIT1-knockout mice as an ADHD model, a product of collaboration with Prof. KIM Eunjoon's lab, was granted from the Japanese Patent Agency on November 25. Now we obtained patents on these mice in all three countries where we filed applications, Korea, USA and Japan. These mice were demostrated to show several ADHD phenotypes in Prof. KIM Eunjoon's lab and a downregulation allele of GIT1 was discoved to associate with ADHD risk in our lab, which were together published in Nature Medicine.
