Professor Kang chairs a symposium, giving a talk as well, on October 10 (Wednesday) 2-4 PM in the 2012 Annual Congress of the Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology in COEX, Seoul. His talk mainly covers the Dr. KIM Minjin's recently published work on the human tumor suppressor maspin that is genetically associated with gastric cancer susceptibility and discovered to regulate cell cycle progression. The sympoisum is entitled "Cancer Genetics, Epigenetics and Immunity" and orgarized by his team of Gastic Cancer Basic Research Laboratory of Korea.
