Monday 09.25.2017

- Download and install the Wordpress template “Story”

- Setting up Menu and starting to implement first pages

- Working on design with logo

Today we were visiting the TechShop in downtown San Jose. We had a very interesting guided tour through all workstations with explanations about the machines they are working with.

Tuesday 09.26.2017

In the morning, we had an interesting guest speech with Baldev Ghuman, who is working for the Silicon Valley Bank. After that we worked at school on the following points:

- Defining the menu

- Talking over arrangements on the website

- Portfolio

After that we took the CalTrain to San Francisco, where we visited the “Swissnex”. “Swissnex” is a platform for pitching swiss founded startups twice a year with a founded engineering background.

Wednesday 09.27.2017

- Counting all companies in the old portfolio

- Downloading their logos for further use

Thursday 09.28.2017

- Meeting with professor Schneider

- We figured out how to present the “our team” on the new website

- Doing a draft on the BigPicture

- Question Catalogue for our meeting with Alex on Friday, 9/29/2017

Friday 09.29.2017

Today we had a Project meeting with our provider Alex Fries. We met at the Starbucks across the street from the Santa Clara University. We presented our “skeleton” of the website and could answer many open questions. In the evening we went to the Beer Festival at SCU and tasted some beers of local breweries and talked to alumni's of the university.

We worked on the implementation of a newsfeed in our website. Alex wants to add his LinkedIn and Twitter feeds to his website and wants to add content manually as well.
