Week 1

Right after the first introduction at Santa Clara University we were warmly welcomed by Jim Skinner who manages Twitter Live. With his inputs we had plenty to discuss this week. We set goals and mapped out a strategy how to solve them. During the meeting on Thursday at Twitter’s headquarter, we received further information about the project and breathed some Twitter-air of course. We started into Friday highly motivated and deepened our knowledge in several useful languages.

Sunday 09.10.2017

- Introduction in Santa Clara and first meeting with Jim Skinner. Getting an impression of the project and discussing the next steps.

Monday 09.11.2017

- Welcome Day at Santa Clara including campus tour and lunch. Writing the minute from meeting on Sunday.

Tuesday 09.12.2017

- First lecture with Prof. Ghiassi

- Created first draft of the «SMARTER goals» (Specific, Measurable, Approved, Realistic, Timed, Ethic, Recorded).

Wednesday 09.13.2017

- Creating approach of the project with deadlines

- Finalizing the SMARTER Goals.

- First drawing of the wireframe.

Thursday 09.14.2017

- Second lecture at Santa Clara and travel to San Francisco.

- Meeting Jim and having a tour through Twitter’s cafeteria.

- Discussing project information and presentation of our project goals including the wireframe. Agreed for a next appointment in two weeks.

Friday 09.15.2017

- Discuss the concept of implementation.

- Getting familiar with html, css, bootstrap and python.

- Working on a first draft of the HTML-file.
