This page allows loading correction files for autocorrelation function (ACF) curves.
Here, we will only describe how to use this page to load files, referring the reader to the Correlation page of the manual for further details on ACF corrections.
There are basically two ways to load (binary) correction files: using the Load button to load several files at once, or using the individual Browse... buttons of the ACF Correction Files array to load individual files.
In either case, there can only be one file per channel (i.e. detector), the channel name being saved with the ACF correction file and displayed in the Channel box shown next to the corresponding file path.
If you know that a file corresponds to the channel you are interested in correcting, but the channel name was different when the file was saved. you can edit the channel name after loading the file.
Note that correction files save data for a specific timelag definition. Trying to correct an ACF curve computed with one set of timelags using a correction file computed for another set of timelags will fail (no correction will be performed). It is therefore recommended to provide detailed information on the ACF binning specifications in the file name itself to prevent confusion.
