The Help menu shown below:
does the following:
1. Show Context Help (Ctrl+H): shows (or hides) the floating context help window. The context help window provides information on some controls or indicators, generally expanding the brief description provided by the tool tip (always visible when there is a description available). Since this information can sometimes be quite verbose, the context window can get in the way, making the Ctrl+H shortcut convenient to show/hide it at will.
1. ALiX Manual: opens a page in the default browser pointing to this website.
2. Check for Updates: opens a page in the default browser pointing to the Downloads page of this website
3. About ALiX...: opens up a modal window providing basic information on legal licenses and acknowledgements.
The window needs to be closed to resume using ALiX. This can be done by clicking anywhere in the window or selecting the "Close Window" checkbox.
