The Burst Analysis page is itself comprised of several sub-pages (tabs) described separately in the manual.
A brief overview of their function is presented below.
1. Burst Statistics Definitions
This tab allows defining constraints to be imposed to bursts detected during the burst search step, as well as (optionally) which plots/histograms to compute and display for the resulting constrained bursts.
Â
2. Burst Statistics Histograms
If user-defined burst statistics plots have been requested, this page will represent them.
3. Burst Statistics CDF
As a complement to the histograms (optionally) plotted on the previous graph, this page represents their cumulative histogram.
4. Burst Duration Histograms
This page shows the burst duration and separation histograms for the constrained bursts.
5. Burst Statistics vs Burst Duration
This page shows scatter plots of the burst statistics added to the Burst Statistics Histograms versus the corresponding burst durations.
6. Statistics 2 vs Statistics 1
A single scatter plot of one burst statistics versus another (defined in the Burst Statistics Definitions tab) can be plotted on this graph.
7. # Burst(t)
A time trace of the number of detected bursts (per time window defined in the Burst Statistics Definitions tab) is plotted on this graph, as well as the cumulated number of bursts as a function of time.
