ALiX pages can be accessed in two different ways:
using the Table of Content
using the Pages menu
1. Table of Content
The Table of Content is visible by default and is located to the left of the main ALiX window.
To hide (or show) the Table of Content, simply select Pages >> Table of Content.
The Table of Content shows a list of accessible ALiX pages (also known as tabs), and allows navigating to any of them by simply clicking on it in the list or moving up and down the list using the arrow keys..
The tabs visible in this list depend on the type of Data File being selected in the Data File page.
The Data File Type affects which pages are accessible because some analyses are irrelevant for some file types. For instance, when selecting a us-ALEX file type, the us Alternation Periods tab is available, but the Nanotime Display and Nanotime Analysis tabs are not. The opposite is true when a ns-ALEX file type is selected.
To bring the Table of Content in focus, click in it or press the Home key.
To navigate the Table of Content, use the Up and Down or Page Up and Page Down keys or click on the desired item in the list. Note that typing the beginning of a page's title (rapidly enough) will also select this page (e.g., typing "Ba" will select the Background Analysis page).
2. Pages menu
When the Table of Content panel is hidden (for instance, to save screen space), use the Pages menu to access any of the available tabs:
