The Gamma Analysis page is accessible as soon as the selected Data File Type (Data File page) supports laser alternation.
For us-ALEX data, the page show an (E_PR, S) Array in addition to the Gamma Graph.
For ns-ALEX data, the array is replaced by an (E'_PR, S', etc) Array.
These arrays can be
populated manually, by typing in the E_PR (or E) and S mean values of a sub-population and their standard deviations, or by pressing the Store (E, S) button in the ALEX Analysis page.
Each (E_PR, 1/S) data point is plotted on the graph with its corresponding standard deviations.
The Fit gamma button then fits a linear model to these points and returns the corresponding values of parameter gamma and
beta defined in Lee et al. (ref. 5) as well as their uncertainties. Note that the horizontal standard deviation (on E_PR) is not taken into account when performing the fit.
