The Burst Statistics vs Duration tab displays two different types of plots, provided the Statistics vs Duration Scatter Plots checkbox is checked in the Burst Statistics Definitions tab.
Switching between the Scatter Plot and 2D Histogram display mode is done with the pull-down list at the top right of the graph (see below).
In the scatter plot mode, the burst statistics defined in the Burst Statistics Plots array of the Burst Statistics Definitions tab are plotted versus the burst duration, as illustrated below for the set of statistics shown in the corresponding illustration of the Burst Statistics Definitions manual page.
In the 2D histogram mode, only the first statistics in the Burst Statistics Plots array is used and histogrammed (using the bin size defined in the Bin Size array) versus the duration (binned using the Burst Duration Bin value defined in the Burst Statistics Definitions tab. The histogram counts are color coded using a palette which can be chosen via the S vs t Intensity Plot Palette pull-down menu to the left of the color ramp. The color box to its right is used with the monochrome palette.
