1. Read through these discussion questions and then log in to your assigned Google Meeting in order to discuss the questions that are of the most interest to you. After 10 minutes sign back into our whole class channel to share thoughts and observations.

2. You have been assigned a partner based upon the highlighted colors in the chart—in most cases, its the person beside you. You are going to be writing two letters that you place on a Padlet board. The person on the left, or in some cases above, will be writing a letter from Hester's perspective and the person on the right (in some cases below) will be writing from Pearl's perspective. Once your are able to read your partner's letter, write a response—all letters should be about 300 to 400 words.
