1. Read Chapters 14 through 16 by Friday

Outcome Goals:

1. Complete a synthesis essay

2. Period 1: complete part 2 of the reading test

First Thing:

1. Get the prompt and a drafting sheet from up front—get out a blue or black pen.

Agenda:

1. Pass out synthesis essay prompts

2. Take 55 minutes to read the prompt/resources and then draft your argument.

3. Put your essay and the prompt in your assessment folder.

4. Pass out part 2 of the reading test and take 20 minutes to complete
