This 21-minute period occurs 4 days a week. The schedule is as follows:
1 Day: Goal Setting and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Lesson
2 Days: Study Hall
1 Day: Goals Review and Other Tasks (e.g., surveys, earned class activities)
Develop social and emotional skills.
Assist students in staying on top of their schoolwork.
Teach organization and goal-setting strategies.
Missing assignments (if applicable)
Book for independent reading
Basic supplies (pencil/pen, paper, etc.)
Daily Points: 10 points possible per day based on effort.
10 Points: Excellent effort
7 Points: Satisfactory effort
0 Points: Minimal or no effort
Effort: Students are expected to give their best effort each day.
Study Hall Guidelines:
1st Priority: Work on missing assignments
2nd Priority: Read a book or work on iReady My Path
Chromebook Use: Limited to iReady My Path only; other activities are not permitted.
Over the school year, students will engage in activities related to the objectives, including:
Goal setting workshops
SEL lessons focused on emotional regulation and peer relationships
Organizational strategies for schoolwork
Review sessions to assess progress and adjust goals
Excellent Consistently participates, completes tasks, and engages in class activities.
