Coaching Certification

The four levels of coaching certification in Manitoba are as follows:

Level 1 Requirements: You must attend a workshop on debating and judge in 2 tournaments in Manitoba

Level 2 Requirements: You must have a level 1 certificate and have judged in at least 2 additional tournaments in Manitoba. Your judging must have included cross-examination debate, parliamentary debate and one public speaking event.

Level 3 Requirements: You must have a level 2 certificate and have coached a team in Manitoba.

Level 4 Requirements: You must have a level 3 certificate and have been one of the chief organizers of a debating tournament in Manitoba.
