Eldives and Kroffdors

You may chose to join forces with either the Eldives or the Kroffdors.

In game library pages: Eldive and Kroffdor

Essentially both reps are the same in respect to what is needed and the rewards. You can still fight monsters of both races.

How to Earn Reputation

Once you have joined the ranks of the Eldives or Kroffdors you will be taught how to extract the enemy's hearts. A Centrido is a Kroffdor heart, and an Incarnum is an Eldive heart. The hearts drop randomly when killing the enemy, but not more then 1 level below you.

There is also a recurring event that can increase you reputation with either Eldives or Kroffdors.

Participating in Fire Fury will earn you Eldive reputation, and Air Rage will increase Kroffdor reputation.

Centrido/Incarnum Procurement

To start you will have a procurement level of 1. Your procurement level influences how many hearts are dropped.

Your procurement skill level is shown in your attributes tab of your backpack. When you earn Eldive/Kroffdor badges you will be able to buy books that when learned, will increase your procurement rate.

There is also a bless you can get every 5 days. It can be used twice and lasts for 1 hr each. It increases your procurement and magic damage for the duration.

To get the bless you need to hand one of the following resources:

* Crimson Crystal is for Kroffdor reputation and can be found at Phantom Ashes and Bottomless Crack or Mortis Dale and Rovengard Fault. Picking one of these will reduce your Eldive reputation

** Flickering Flower is for Eldive reputation and can be found at Vale of Visions and Twilight Forest or Crossroads and Enchanted Lake. Picking one of these will reduce your Kroffdor reputation.

Crimson Crystals and Flickering Flowers respawn 1 hour after they were picked.

Machine Power

Each of the machines have different levels. Each machine will only give you reputation for using it up to a certain reputation level (see in game library page for more details)

When you use a machine it will increase in power. The current powerlevel is shown in you attributes page.

When the power reaches the maximum for that machine it will automatically upgrade to the next level machine upon being used once again after the power threshold was reached.

The upgraded machine will give you a stronger Aureole/Grevior, but still require the same amount of hearts (Centrido/Incarnum) to use, and still only gives 5 rep per use (again see in game library page for more details)

You can also use a Luxite to increase the capacity of either your Prozio or Antizio (Eldive machines), or a Flamian to increase the capacity of your Davagar or Nevagar (Kroffdor machines)

Just a note on capacity/rep

The first level of machine has 100 capacity, and gives rep to a max of 500. Remembering that each use will give you 5 rep, you can see that if you only use the machine to get rep, the machine will upgrade at the right time you need it to, to continue earning rep.

So using the machine 100 times will increase capacity to 100, and thus upgrade, and will increase your rep to 500, the max that using the basic machine.

But if you participated in the event, then the capacity will fall behind.

For example if you earn 10 rep from event, and use the machine 98 times, you will have 500 rep, but your machine will only have capacity of 98.

You will need to use the machine twice more, with no reputation gained, or use 2 Luxite/Flamian before you can earn reputation again from using the machines again.

Another way you can end up in a situation where your machines doesn't have the power to upgrade is if you are using 2 machines. In this case both machines wont be able to upgrade when you reach max rep for that machine.

Pushing your machines with Luxites / Flamians you can surpass the reputation level and have a stronger blessing / destructor earlier and gain reputation for each use either way.

Another point to note, you can initiate into both camps, so that you have a chance to get heart drops from both Eldive and Kroffdor mobs. But you can only increase one rep at a time.

Advanced Reputation Gaining

At 2500 reputation machines of purple or lower quality will no longer grant you reputation. Reputation can be increased up to 2600 with the events Air Rage or Fire Fury.

The only way to gain more reputation afterwards is to advance the power of the device of your choice up to 2000. At that point it will turn into a red machine and further uses will give reputation again.
