Derelict House Guide

Starter Info

To enter you must form a group. It is enough if you are alone in the group. Within 12 hours after opening the instance you will be able to go back in as long as you are in a group that does not contain someone in a separate Instance of the Derelict House. Afterwards you will have to wait until 48 hours have passed since you opened the instance before you can open a new one.

You can use "/instinfo" in chat or the tab "Instances" in your backpack to know how much longer the instance is open or when you can go back again.

Once inside the Derelict House you can keep track of your location and group by opening the Instance Maps. At the top of the game find Maps, then in the drop down select Instance Maps. It will automatically load the map of the current instance you are in.

Most transfers are guarded by a group of monsters. Thus when you are trying to go through the door you will get attacked and won't be able to pass until you kill all the monsters guarding the it. The difficulty of the monsters guarding the doors changes depending on how far you are in the instance. As long as you return within 12 hours of opening the instance doors you have previously cleared will still be free.

Depending on your groups strength summons may be required for some of the door fights or the bosses.

Coffers

During your battles with door guards you can randomly drop coffers. These are unique chests that can only be opened with keys bought from the Undead Shop accessible by talking to Shiko the Paladin in Tomb of Kings or Royal Tomb. The keys only need to be purchased once. They can open coffers of the same color as well as lower grade ones.

Tips

Depending on how far you want to go in the instance it can take quite a while (up to several hours).

Be sure that everyone in your group takes sufficient resources. This may be some summons, 80-100 Scrolls of Healing, some Scrolls of Poison (for use on bosses) and some Amulets of Resurrection, to resurrect other members of the group.

Level 3s need to be very well prepared to have successful runs.

It's advisable to coordinate the groups movement to ensure everyone knows which way they are going at crossroads.

Make very sure the Leader changes the group settings to "Leader distributes", so that the items dropped can be distributed to the player who needs them.

If you disband the group while you are in the Derelict House you will all find yourselves at the exit. This is a useful way of getting out when you have finished without getting jumped. Make sure there are no undistributed items though or they will drop to the leader.

To be able to go to Zermerkh and Lingraonts a lever has to be activated in Revrats room, otherwise the passage will be blocked.
