[December] Winter Time in Faeo

The advent calendar can be  purchased in the shops in City Squares.

It can be used no more than 24 times to receive a random gift every day. It can only be used from the 1st of december to the 26th of december at 12:00.

At the same time with December the snow arrives. Snowdrifts can be collected almost everywhere in hunt screen.

While gathering Snowdrifts there is a chance you might randomly receive a Christmas Ice Block or a Frozen Elixir. Note that both will expire after 2 hours.

Snowdrifts can be formed into Snowballs by clicking on them in Backpack. To speed things up you can convert any number quickly in Elt Cube.

Snowballs can be used in fights to deal some damage to the current opponent or to feed the Ice Bear Mounts. They are required for some of the Quests as well.

Breaking a Frozen Elixir will grant you one type of seasonal elixirs. These elixirs will be removed from the game on 1st of March the following year.

Killing superbeings you will receive New Year Ice Pellets for other ice statues.

During the reward stage additional December Bags can be bought for gold or diamonds from Chigrik the Thief / Gloum the Swindler. Each bag contains 30 Magic Snowflakes but can only be purchased once.

For a limited amount of time the holiday letters can be obtained by hunting monsters, mining resources, defeating superbeings or winning battlefields. Only 25 letters can be gathered a day however they can be exchange for different letters with other players.

Letters can be exchanged in the Collections tab under Special. Each collection can only be completed once a day.

Special gold letters can be dropped only exactly once each and are received with a low probability when killing monsters. They can be received with an increased chance by defeating superbeings or enemies on the battlefields.

Notes:

• The New Year Gold Coin depends on the year. In the year 2023 the coin will be a 2024 Gold Coin.

• The image depends on the race and the gender of the player, it will be one of the following four pictures:
  - New Year's Flight image (male, magmar)
  - Heading towards the Holidays image (female, magmar)
  - Flying Gift-Giver image (male, human)
  - Gift from the Heavens image (female, human)

After Christmas until the 9th of January of the next year you can gain New Year Cheer. (Please check the in game news for the exact dates of the event).

You can gain New Year Cheer by:

• Completing activities (+80 points)

• Obtaining City Charters (+66 points)

• Taking part in Chaotic battles (+45 points)

• Participating in Battlefields (+25 points)

• Purchasing items in Premium Shop (+5 points)

To check your current progress and claim the rewards check the tab "Completions" in Events.

For obtaining 1000 New Year Cheer you can claim a Christmas Contender Reward Casket containing:

• Small Bag of Thalers 2 pcs.

• Icy Power of Dragon Elixir 2 pcs. (depending on players level)

• Winged Legend Spirit Amulet of Call 1 pc.

• New Year Elixirs.

• Magic Snowflake 10 pcs.

• Mithril Key 1 pc.

• Twilight Casket 5 pcs.

• Pack of Cards 1 pc.

• Crystals of Truth 100 pcs.

For obtaining a bit more than 2000 New Year Cheer (exact amount depending on the new year) you can claim a Christmas Victor Reward Casket containing:

• Heavy Bag of Thalers 2 pcs.

• Icy Power of Dragon Elixir 4 pcs. (depending on players level)

• Winged Legend Spirit Amulet of Call 3 pcs.

• New Year Elixirs.

• Magic Snowflake 20 pcs.

• Mithril Key 1 pc.

• Twilight Casket 10 pcs.

• Pack of Cards 2 pcs.

• Crystals of Truth 200 pcs.

• Random Incarnation Potion 1 pc.

Please note:

• Upon claiming either reward, the progress is reset to 0 New Year Cheer.

• Each Chest can only be received once per event.

• City Charter quests only count if you receive City Charters for it. If your level is too far above the quests level, you will not get City Charters and thus does not give New Year Cheer.

• Activities count upon claiming the Reward Casket from it.

• Purchases in "Goods for Premium" section of the Premium Shop do not count.

Charged Spheres of the New Years Spirits can be found directly by offering money to the Christmas Spirit in City Squares.

After searching for Spheres in City Square you can receive Empty spheres of New Year Spirits. To charge these you need to either win one battlefield or lose 3. Only one sphere can be charged a day. Battlefields of the past do not count.
