General Information

Requirement: Level 5

Your Estate is like your home! You are the only person able to enter your own estate and you can construct buildings that help you in your everyday life in the game.

A small note to start with:

Location: When buying your estate you select which location it is in. You will have to go to that location to be able to enter your estate or you will need to buy a special teleportation device that lets you teleport there. Other than accessibility and convenience there is no difference as to where your estate is located at.

  • Buying your own Estate:

    • At the top of your screen go to maps and open the world map. Once you opened it select "Invisibility mode" at the bottom left corner of it.

  • You will then see a choice of where you want to buy an estate. Find yourself a location you'd like to have your estate at and buy it. Whether or not you buy it from the "state" or another player does not matter at all for you, so pick whichever option is cheaper.

  • Building on your Estate:

  • To build anything in your estate you will first of all have to go to the location where you bought it at and click "In the Estate" in the location list. Then you will require Energy and Riolite, which you can buy for money, Energy or from other players via exchange or trade. Upgrading buildings works the same way as building a new one does, just that you'll have to open the upgrading interface by clicking on the existing building instead of the trench.

  • The first building you will have to construct in your estate is the Town Hall. Click on the foundation trench for it, that looks something like the picture below.

  • - The progress bar shows how much Energy and Riolite you have already spent and how much you need to spend total in order to build (or upgrade). Note that it only says "requires energy" but it will also require the same amount of Riolite.

  • - The left small box allows you to choose how much Energy you want to use to build. You will require the same amount of Riolite as for every point of energy you spend you will also use up one Riolite. In the right box it shows how much Riolite will be spent and how much you currently have in your backpack.

  • - If you have entered a number, or used the slider for how much energy (and thus Riolite) you wish to use you can confirm this by clicking the button at the bottom right that it labled "Build".

  • - The button at the bottom left "Hire workers" (explained further down) allows you to spend money and Riolite to put up requests, which other players can fill out to receive the money and help building your estate.

  • - The button in the middle "Buy Riolite" pulls up a window where you can choose to either spend energy or money to get Riolite.

  • Obtaining Energy:

    • You are only able to receive Energy if you own an Estate. There are two main ways to gain Energy: Obtaining a scalp will also grant you 10 Energy, just like receiving the loot of a monster also additionally gives 2 Energy. These amounts can be increased several ways, the most commonly available one is by using focus amulets. These you can buy in the shop in your estate once built, receive it as a reward for the Merchant Mark quest Help Meridian Land, or by manufacturing it in your clans Citadels Magic Pot. There are also symbols from moulds that have a chance to increase the energy you get, as well as the March gift of the monthly card pack (WoD forum guide to Seasons Deck).

    • The amount of energy you can obtain is limited daily depending on your level and your clans Citadel. The timer resets at midnight game time, however once your energy bar is full you will have to use your energy or sell it so you can get more. You can also reset the daily counter of how much energy you earned by using a Second Wind Elixir, which can be purchased from the trade fair or gotten with some luck from the January Events Ice Monkey statuette.

  • Moving your Estate:

    • You can purchase 2 Estates, but you can however only ever use one of them. The other one you can use in case you are not happy with your current location and you can pay

    • 10g to move all buildings from your previously main estate location to the new one.

    • To actually do the move open the world map and find the location in which your secondary site is, it is marked by the green circle with a hammer in it. Clicking on said symbol will open a window in which you will have to confirm, or cancel, the move.

    • Selling the secondary Site:

    • First and foremost, you can only sell your empty, secondary estate! That means it only makes sense to sell it for the same price or cheaper than the system price is on in that area.

    • Same as before, to sell your estate, you will have to open the world map and this time also change to estate (invisibility) mode at the bottom left. Additionally to the prices, in the location of your secondary site it will also have the "sell" option.

    • Hiring workers:

    • - With the drop down list at the top choose which building you wish to hire workers for, you can put up several requests but others will not see which building they're working for.

    • - Choose the amount of energy you want others to work on the specified building for. As before you need to have the same amount of Riolite in your backpack that you request work for. The Riolite will be removed from your backpack, you can get it back if you cancle the request. If you do not have the required amount of Riolite the "Buy Riolite" button lets you purchase some.

    • - You can choose a price of how much money you wish to spend per energy. Depending on that and the amount you request it will give you an approximated timer considering other players prices and amounts they hire workers for.

    • - Once you have selected everything don't forget to click the "Place" button to place your request.

    • Work for other players:

    • If you have energy to spare that you don't wish to use or need to earn some money, you can sell energy to other players that have set up a request via "Hire Worker" feature explained further up. To work for them you can go via world map clicking on the button "Work" at the bottom left or pull up the window using the "Hire Worker" button in your estate when on the building screen. It shows you how much energy a person wants to buy and how much they're willing to pay. It also shows how much energy you currently have at the top of it, thus how much you can sell. Note that it will deduct some tax though when working for someone. To actually do the work select the person you wish to work for and click the "Work" button at the bottom.

    • Restrictions:

    • - The first building to construct and to upgrade to higher levels is always the Town Hall.

    • - On level 5 you can get most buildings to level 1 and the maximum level of buildings increases by one for each level you gain. While the highest level for buildings is level 6.

    • - Before you can upgrade any building to the next higher level certain buildings need to be on the same level. Those buildings are the Town Hall, Infirmary, Obelisk of Valor, Statue of Experience, Workshop, Nursery and the Repository. This means the Post, Shop, Portal, Clan Building and Kennels are not required to be built or upgraded before the Town Hall and the other buildings afterwards can be upgraded.

    • - Kennels can only be built once your Town Hall is level 3 (and thus above mentioned buildings need to be at least level 2 as well). Kennels and the Post can not be upgraded at all.
