Arena of the Underground Knights

Battlefield: Arena of the Underground Knights (team size - 2 players)

Maximum battle time: 40 minutes.

First team to have 5 points wins

Points Awarded:

Win in a fight against the opposite race: 1 point

Turning in an Energy Sphere: 2 points (can only be done once per player per visit)

The Arena is a sought out area due to its potential to provide Underground Knights Rep. For players who have not yet earned the blue medal of Underground Knights Respect, the recurring quest Spawn of Spilt Blood (every 4 days) awards each player 10 Reputation each time they destroy the beast along with valour and exp. Players who have the blue or purple UK medals will receive more valour and some exp from this quest but no UK rep.

To get the max out of this battlefield, it's wise for each team of two players to work together until the very end. Clear communication and an agreed-upon strategy help make this battlefield instance go smoothly. It is possible to gain an energy sphere, an enemy scalp and valour, exp and UK rep from a well-done Arena instance.

One Energy Sphere per player can be obtained from each instance of an Arena. Energy spheres are needed for the 4th Feat of Agudar. When a player clicks on the altar of resurrection in the enemy's base, the sphere is collected. They must then carry the sphere back to their home base and deposit it in the chest. If the player has accepted the quest for the Fourth Feat of Agudar, this sphere will automatically be counted in their attribute page toward the 200 total energy spheres needed.

Separately, after the Arena instance has ended, the player can choose to turn the collected and deposited sphere in to Blouw the Knight in Settlement of Chion / Frex the Knight in Warriors Camp for a small amount of Valor and Exp. This does not affect the 4th Feat of Agudar or the Arena instance.

But Underground Knight Rep. is not limited to just the quest Spawn of Spitblood but it can also be accumulated from consecutive victorys. After each victory you will be awarded a badge and those can be turned in to Cabur the Knight in Settlement of Chion / Burz the Knight in Warrior's Camp. The chart below will show you the amount of UK rep that each badge will give.

Walkthrough:

Note: Establishing a connection with the opposite race is against the rules. Do not seek to work together with the opposing team or you will be punished.

This does not mean that every person who visits the Arena cannot have a mutual understanding of what to do.

When you start the Arena you and your teammate will start in the the base camp.

There are only 3 locations in which to travel: The human base, the center of the arena and the magmar base.

Once you are in the center of the arena you will notice that there is a large grate that will turn purple upon touching it. If you have accepted the quest Spawn of Spilt blood, you will now click this grate to fight your monster. Each monster will change as you move up in the level brackets. When fighting the Spawn is it recommended that each person fight their own. This will ensure that every person will obtain rep. If you think you can not defeat the monster alone make sure you and your teammate are in a group.

After you have defeated the monster, your next move will be to enter the base of the opposing race.

At each base you will find the Altar of Resurrection. If you are defeated in battle you can use your altar to resurrect. When you enter your enemy base wait until the Transfer Time has depleted and then touch their altar. Doing so will amount you to 1 Energy Sphere.

Your next step is to run back to your Base Camp.

Once inside you will need to locate your teams chest. Wait until transfer time has ran out then click on it. Doing this will gain your team 2 points.

If both of the two magmars and two humans each take the energy sphere and deposit it in their home base, it will leave each team tied with 4 pts. In order to get the final point needed to win, the opponents must fight. Remember that winning a fight against the opposing race will award 1 pt. How you intend to fight is entirely up to you and your team mate. If you think you have a better chance fighting together then go for it. Or you can try your luck fighting one on one. Summons are not allowed in the Arena except for steeds. But in any case who ever wins a fight first means that they have won the battlefield for you team.

Of course not everyone will play along with these steps. It is possible to win an Arena by killing the opponents 5 times and never taking or depositing the energy spheres at all. It is up to each player and team what strategy they take in Arena. Good Luck!

5th Feat of Agudar

Just like any Battlefield the Arena is not just limited to gaining UK rep every 4 days. The 5th Feat requires that you gather 10 pieces of the 5th Badge of Victory. This is far from an easy task. To gain a badge of 5th Victory you must win 5 Arena's in a row. Losing will reset the Badges of Victory. The item duration of the 5th Badge is 14 days so you have that time limit in which to gain another 5th badge before it disappears. Do not turn in the badges individually they must all be turned in at once.
