Article 253 - The Remains of Art

The Remains of Art

This essay examines what remains of the term ‘Art’ after the types of art. historical definitions of art, a present definition of art, the nature of artists, the nature of the fundamental origin of art, the nature of the universe, the nature of the human sensing delay, the nature of objects and the remains of art are all examined and brought up to our current knowledge.

Finally the remains of Art are defined.

The Types of Art.

The Arts can be defined as Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Mosaics, Ceramics, Photography, Calligraphy, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Military Architecture, Naval Architecture, Computer Architecture, Sculpture, Conceptual Art, Computer Art, Literature, Poetry, Song, Music, Theatre, Dance, Film making and Cooking.

These are all educations followed by occupations within a human society.

Historical Definitions of Art

The Ancient definition of Art was ‘Techne.’ A knowledge of principles. To make and perform.

The Medieval definition was ‘Artes Liberales’ The arts worthy of a free person and ‘Artes Mechanicae’. The arts of the servile and vulgar.

The Modern definition is ‘considered as a group of activities done by people with skill and imagination.’

The historical definitions of Art are all definitions related to a human society. They all imply Art was programmed by a state education and used by a state hierarchy to perpetuate the society and influence its evolution.

A Present Definition of Art

A current definition of Art is ‘Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts (artworks), expressing the author's imaginative or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power.’

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art

The modern definition of Art implies that Art is purely the creation of an individual and not influenced by anything other than a personal imagination or skill. This brings into question the historic and current nature of Artists.

The Nature of Artists

The ‘artist’ is a human being. It begins by being born into the society at an approved, named, grid referenced, location in a previously named country on Earth. Its parents are products of previous human evolution. They have already complied with the morals and laws of the state. The future ‘artist’ has been

born through the actions of a welfare and health care system that is supported by the rest of society. At birth the ‘artist’ is recoded as existing by a state. It is then educated by its parents and the state. It has been programmed with its parents, predecessors and contemporaries knowledge, beliefs and languages.

The ‘artist’; once qualified; is then required to earn money from work produced by their education. They are required to follow the client and patron system of the society around them. The ‘artist’ necessarily becomes opinionated and prejudiced to exist within these systems. The ‘artist’ only draws, paints, moulds, forms, captures, encapsulates, reproduces, abstracts, conceives, dances, sings, acts out, cooks, creates, co-creates, re-creates the meanings, signs and symbols of the society they are born and function in. To live, eat, drink, sleep, travel, sense and comment the ‘artist’ complies with the state and seeks state approval in all things.

The ‘artist’ in our society is no more independent than their historical counterparts. Any Art that they believe they create they create not as independent entities but as members of a society. Art then becomes the product of the society to be used as the society deems fit.

The Nature of the Fundamental Origin of Art

The origins of Art is a human sensory perception.

Human sensory perception comes from the Universe.

The Fundamental origin of Art is the Universe.

The Fundamental origin of Art is the Universe then sensory input then humans sensory perception then sensory output. This sequence suggests a form of delay relative to the information speed, energy speed between each part of the sequence due to the nature of the Universe.

The Nature of the Universe

The Universe is a singularity that has expanded through the evolution of energy into mass and back into energy. Humans are a density of energy in the Universe. The purpose of the Universe; and so humans; is to cause energy to be converted into mass and back into energy. This depletes the energy in the Universe and also causes it to expand. In expanding the Universe approaches a density where any interaction within it will create a singularity and cause a new Universe to form.

The Universe is already complete and can only be depleted in density and so expanded. Nothing new can be added to it. Everything can only be re-assembled as energy into mass and into energy. Having identified the Nature of the Universe the sensory input can be regarded as energy into mass into energy and the human sensing delay can be examined.

The Nature of the Human Sensing Delay

The nature of the human interaction with the Universe is always sensed in the past; due to the maximum speed of light in a pure vacuum, the varying distances of space time, the expansion of space and the time it takes a human to process sensory input; energy; from the Universe.

Humans Sense only in the past. What they perceive as creation is only their delayed sensory interaction; as an energy density in the Universe; with other parts of the Universe. They cannot ‘create.’ They only re-assemble any previously available energy into mass into energy through their own sensory conceit at a delay that they name as creation.

This brings the nature of any objects into question.

The Nature of Objects

An object can be defined as ‘a material thing that can be seen and touched.’

Source: https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#safe=strict&q=def+an+object&spf=1496648007464

‘Any object is; from a physical scale of perception; a human product, a tool created from the energy of the Universe. It is therefore subject to universal and local human constraints of location, physical law, depletion, history, language, manufacturing, mathematics and infinity. ‘

Source: https://sites.google.com/site/architecturearticles/home/article-203---the-nature-of-objects

‘An object is also a superposition of infinitely natural random and artificial human manufactured random interacting and entangled definitions, physical laws, depletions, accuracies, histories, numerals, numbers, languages, manufacturing constraints and outcomes. These can only be viewed relatively in the past by an observer due to universally varying distance and the maximum speed of interaction and entanglement; speed of light. Any object cannot be actually seen. It is always in the sensory past of any observer, any other energy density. Any object cannot be actually touched. It is only interacted with through electromagnetic energy interaction. Both the ‘human’ and the ‘object’ are only electromagnetic energy densities in the energy of the universe. They are only probability events in a larger energy environment.

They have no actual natural names or descriptions. These labels are human ‘theatre’ conceits relating to the nature of the universe and themselves. They are universal interference patterns of overlapping information density delays being observed and analysed as 'slices' of relative space time density zones as holograms of past events by humans. Any object; is an illusion that humans falsely name and deceive themselves that they are using as components of their current reality.’

Any object in the Universe is a holographic illusion centred within the sensory density of a human being. It exists at a delay to the rest of the Universe and the human being. It is a human named conceit.

The Remains of Art

From the updated definitions Art as Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Mosaics, Ceramics, Photography, Calligraphy, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Military Architecture, Naval Architecture, Computer Architecture, Sculpture, Conceptual Art, Computer Art, Literature, Poetry, Song, Music, Theatre, Dance, Film making and Cooking can now be redefined in our current society.

Art is part of the natural depletion of energy into mass into energy of the Universe to cause the Universe to reach a minimum density and maximum volume so that any interaction within it will cause a new Universe to form.

It is part of a natural depletion system.

It is not a human skill or craft or knowledge since humans are themselves only an energy density in the Universe.

It has no actual existence in space time.

It is interacted with as a density of energy at a delay relative to the speed of light in a pure vacuum.

It is a holographic interference pattern of previous information that humans have wrongly defined as being part of their current ‘reality’.

It is a human conceit.
