Article 241 - The Human Sky Box Limit.

The Human Sky Box Limit.

Theory

This essay proposes that Humans currently live in a limited travel distance observable universe in a sensory ‘sky box’ that is made of past images of objects; immaterial probabilities; that may no longer exist.

Limited

‘restricted in size, amount, or extent; few, small, or short.’

Observable Universe

‘The observable universe is a spherical region of the Universe comprising all matter that can be observed from Earth at the present time, because electromagnetic radiation from these objects has had time to reach Earth since the beginning of the cosmological expansion. There are at least 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, containing more stars than all the grains of sand on planet Earth. Assuming the Universe is isotropic, the distance to the edge of the observable universe is roughly the same in every direction. That is, the observable universe is a spherical volume (a ball) centered on the observer. Every location in the Universe has its own observable universe, which may or may not overlap with the one centered on Earth.’

Distance

‘the length of the space between two points.’

This can be stated as a ratio of speed : distance : time.

This can be re-written as the ratio of speed of light in a pure vacuum : expanding space time : relative time taken for light to travel between locations in the expanding space time.

Sensory

‘relating to sensation or the physical senses; transmitted or perceived by the senses.’

Images

‘a representation of the external form of a person or thing in art.’

‘a visible impression obtained by a camera, telescope, microscope, or other device, or displayed on a computer or video screen.’

‘a point or set formed by mapping from another point or set.’

‘a mental representation or idea.’

‘imitate’ an Imitation.

Objects

‘a material thing that can be seen and touched.’

Material

These are atoms and atom variation possibilities. They are also known as Mass.

Sub-atomic particles have been excluded from the material calculation since they are measured in terms of energy not mass and are therefore immaterial in nature.

Immaterial

These are ideas, thoughts and holograms. They are also known as Energy.

Sky Box

‘A skybox is a method of creating backgrounds to make a computer and video games level look bigger than it really is. When a skybox is used, the level is enclosed in a cuboid. The sky, distant mountains, distant buildings, and other unreachable objects are projected onto the cube's faces (using a technique called cube mapping), thus creating the illusion of distant three-dimensional surroundings. A skydome employs the same concept but uses either a sphere or a hemisphere instead of a cube.’

The General Constraints

Our observable universe limit is dependent on the speed of light in a perfect vacuum and the observers location at the time of observation and the time it takes light to reach the observer.

Space has quantum fluctuations in it. It is constantly interacting and entangling.

The quantum fluctuations can be as small as a Planck limit or as large as the observable universe. Density varies throughout the observable universe.

Parts of the observable universe have only energy in them. Parts have dense forms of energy in them called matter.

Gravity holds the densities of matter together in galaxies.

Space time outside the galaxies is expanding faster than gravity can restrain it. This is due to the amount of dark energy per unit volume causing space time to expand faster than gravity can restrain it.

To move from one gravitational pocket into another is therefore only possible below galactic distances.

The more space time expands without gravity being able to restrain it the larger the distance between each galaxy becomes.

Eventually everything beyond the local cluster of galaxies that are gravitationally bound to the Milky Way will become unreachable.

Light will not be able to reach our galaxy from these galaxies due to the speed of light in ratio to the expansion of space.

The Maximum Travel Distances for Humans

Humans live on the Earth.

The furthest they can travel on the Earth is 40,075 km. 4.2e-12 light years.

If Humans develop their limited space travel ability they can leave the Earth and travel within the solar system. The furthest they can travel in the solar system is 9,090,000,000 km. 0.0009 light years.

If Humans develop inter-galactic; light speed travel; they can leave the solar system and travel to the nearest star. 4.367 light years away.

Travelling within the Milky Way galaxy the furthest they can travel is 100,000 light years; across the whole galaxy.

Beyond the Milky Way galaxy the distances between locations increases.

The Andromeda galaxy is 3,000,000,000 light years away.

Fifty other dwarf galaxies also exist within 3,100,000,000 light years.

Beyond the Milky Way is the rest of the Laniakea Supercluster which in turn is part of millions of Superclusters that form the Observable Universe.

These can be sensed currently but can never be reached due to the expansion of space and the speed of light constraints.

The Future Travel or Sensory Constraint for Humans.

In a few billion years the local group; the Milky Way galaxy, Andromeda galaxy and fifty other dwarf galaxies will be pulled together by gravity and form one giant galaxy.

All other galaxies beyond the local group will have metrically moved away by this time; due to the expansion of space; beyond the ability for light from them to reach the location of the Earth and be observed.

The combined giant galaxy will therefore appear to be the entire observable universe to any of its inhabitants.

The combined local group of galaxies will be; 10,000,000 light years in diameter. This is only 0.00000000001% of the observable universe.1/100th billion percent of the observable universe.

Humans will therefore be restrained within their own galaxy physically and in their sensory input.

This is the ultimate fate for humans. Existing in a depleting travel and sensory sphere centred on the Earth.

The Sky Box

The Skybox exists therefore as a depleting travel limit for humanity due to the nature of expanding space time, gravity, dark matter, dark energy and the speed of light in a pure vacuum.

The Nature of the Skybox.

If the distance to any object is calculated against the speed of light it can be established that the human perception of any object can only be in the relative; to the speed of light; past.

If light is coming from multiple directions in the observable universe at any observers location and is refracted then light arrives at the relative location of each human observer at multiple speeds below the maximum speed of light. The light forms an interference pattern, through further overlapping delays; in the brain of each human observer.

This is the same process in which a hologram is formed.

The objects in the observable universe and other unreachable objects are projected onto the retina, then into the optic chiasma and then into multiple pathways through the brain. This; as in the technique called cube mapping; creates the illusion of distant three-dimensional surroundings.

The objects in the perceived hologram of the observable universe have already been created and are; relative to their locations; as old as the time from their creation to the current local time of their observation.

As an example the sun is 149,600,000 km away. Light travels at 300,000 km/sec. The time it takes light to travel from the sun to Earth is 500 seconds. Humans sense the sun as it was 8 minutes and 20 seconds ago. They sense it in the past and do not know its current state. They sense it only as a hologram.

All objects in the observable universe can therefore be considered to have once existed but also that they may no longer exist by the time a human perceives them.

Humans cannot assess the current environmental, resource or energy level of the observable universe; to establish off Earth resources; without considering the delay relative to the speed of light in perception and also the time it would take humans to travel to the location, collect resources and return to Earth.

There are 1e+7520 things in the observable universe.

The material things can be shown to be immaterial when sensed by human beings.

Therefore all things are sensed; by human beings; as immaterial.

The observable universe is only depleting, immaterial, idea, thought, hologram in the form of energy.

Therefore just like the images on the artificial computer generated sky-box the observable universe can be considered to be slices through expanding space time; images; imitations in light radiation; on a plane of reference; of the previous nature of any; object; immaterial probability.

Humans therefore currently live in a limited travel distance observable universe in a depleting sensory ‘sky box’ that is made of past images of; objects; immaterial probability that may no longer exist.
