Context
The key ratio that Architects must respond to in our age is increasing population to decreasing Energy, resource and environment.
Solution
Architecture must resolve this ratio by using less resources, Energy and environment.
It must become.
Creation
Idea.
Notion.
Pattern.
First mold.
Original prototype.
Collectively, inherited, unconscious, universally present, evolving archetypes communicated in individual psyches.
Historical Example
To quote Etienne-Louis Boullée

Method
If Architecture is a product of the mind of a Human being then its nature should be able to be identified and a new definition arrived at for Architecture in our era.
This essay describes this new Architecture in terms of Universal Systems that produce the product of Sensory Systems, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self and Consciousness; Idea; in a Human being.
The UniversalSystems.
These are Existence, Life, Exo-vironment, Endo-vironment, Humans, Human Senses, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Emotions, Thoughts, Language, Communication, Classical Mind Self Consciousness, Quantum Mind Self Consciousness and Matter.
Each of the Universal systems can be defined; as was the original Architecture; in terms of the current science that comprise it.
Existence
Is the synaptic knowledge life has of the process of Inanimate and Animate Interaction.
Life
Life is the original Universe Inanimate Interaction evolved to a Biological Animate Interaction.
Exo-vironment
This is the Universe.
It is Mass changing into Energy and back into Mass Again.
It is Inanimate Interaction becoming Animate Interaction and then Inanimate Interaction.
It is Life becoming Death to allow re-creation.
Endo-vironment
This is the inside of all Life forms including Human beings.
It is Mass changing into Energy and Back into Mass again.
It is Inanimate Interaction becoming Animate Interaction and then Inanimate Interaction.
It is Life becoming Death to allow re-creation.
Humans
The nature of a Human being is Mass changing into Energy and into Mass again.
It is Electromagnetic, Electrochemical, Organic, Inanimate and Animate Interaction in the Exo-vironment forming an organic envelope and an Endo-vironment.
The form of the Human organic envelope is designed to optimize the interaction of Human senses with both the Exo-vironment and Endo-vironment. This is achieved through openings into the interior of the Human being, variations in the envelope thickness and variations in the envelope opacity.
This produces Eye sockets with transparent coverings, Nasal openings, Hands, Feet, Mouths, Ear openings, waste removal openings, and Skin which has millions of openings through it into the interior of the Human being.
The envelope of a Human being is therefore not sealed but perforated.
Humans are transitory.
Humans exist as long as their ability to survive and turn Mass to Energy to Mass exists.
Humans do not remain in the same state. Humans evolve from Mass to Energy to Mass as does the Universe.
Human Senses
Human interactions with the Exo-vironment and Endo-vironment are called senses.
These are not formed at birth they are created and evolved as a response to the Universe over a lifetime.
The senses can be named as Sight, Smell, Touch, Taste, Hearing, Balance, Location, Movement, Pain, Hunger, Respiration, Air-Quality, Swallowing, Gagging, Vomiting, Temperature, Pressure, Blushing, Acidity of food and drink, Urinary and rectal Waste retention and expulsion, Light Levels, Time, Electromagnetic, Electrochemical, Radiation, and Gravitational effects.
Humans sense variations in Mass by sensing interactions in Density, Temperature, Electromagnetic Energy, Chemical Molecules, Resonance and Pressure. They then contain the Mass, test it, convert it into electrical Energy and then use it to create Energy and Mass in the form of envelope or storage of sensory, synaptic data.
Humans senses evolve as an Inanimate Interaction to Animate Interaction through neuroplasticity potentiation, and depression towards complexity and then to Inanimate Interaction.
Humans sense from Life to Death through a Sensory System to optimize Mass to Energy to Mass Interaction and facilitate re-creation of the Universe.
Brain
This is the collection of neural networks linked to the Sensory Systems of the Human envelope.
It is shaped by evolution into a folded form to maximize storage area.
It nature is as a Neuron, Chemical, Molecule Network powered by Electrochemical Energy.
It is the location of the products of the Sensory System and its interaction with the Universe called Memory, Mind, Self and Consciousness
It has evolved over millions of years by interaction with the Universe.
Memory
This is the product of the Sensory System and its interaction with the Universe.
It is the process of Electrochemical Energy being sensed, stored in Organic Mass, compared and re-sensed.
It operates at different Time rates.
It has a Deletion ability.
It retains repetitive Sensory Input.
It recalls Electrochemical Energy from Organic Matter by interacting and re-sensing the environment.
It is activated at birth.
It is shut down during sleep.
It is dispersed as Electrochemical Energy at Death.
It is evolved, constantly checked and reformed by interaction with the Universe.
Mind
This is the product of the Sensory System, Brain and Memory and interaction with the Universe.
It is the Sensing of the Internal Sensory System in operation by each individual.
It is evolved, constantly checked and reformed by interaction with the Universe.
Self
This is the product of the Sensory System, Brain, Memory and Mind and interaction with the Universe.
It is the Sensing of the Internal Sensory System in operation by each individual.
It is evolved, constantly checked and reformed by interaction with the Universe.
Consciousness
This is the product of the Sensory System, Brain, Memory, Mind and Self and interaction with the Universe.
It is the Sensing of the External and Internal Sensory System in operation by each individual.
It is evolved, constantly checked and reformed.
Emotions
These are Physical and Auditory Reactions without first checking the Sensory System against previous synaptic storage from previous interaction.
They are evolved, constantly checked and reformed.
Thoughts
These are the External and Internal Sensory Systems checking Sensory Interaction against previous synaptic storage of interaction.
They are evolved, constantly checked and reformed.
Language
Language is the Sensory Output of stored Synaptic Sensory Input.
It is directed to another Human being in order for secondary checking and comparison over an open source network of Human beings a secondary sensors of Mass into Energy conversion in the Universe.
Its forms mimic the various types of Sensory Input.
It is evolved, constantly checked and reformed.
Communication
Communication is Language in use
The Classical Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness.
Existence, Life, Exo-environment, Endo-vironment, Humans, Human Senses, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Emotions, Thought, Language and Communications can all be stated to be one environment called Universe.
They are Inanimate Interaction becoming Animate Interaction and then Inanimate Interaction.
They are all Life becoming Death to allow re-creation.
They are all Mass becoming Energy becoming Mass.
Mass to Energy to Mass is a process following the law of the Conservation of Energy.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed but it can change state.
In terms of Mass - Energy Equivalence the Mass of any system is a measure of its Energy content equivalent to a universal, the speed of light squared.
Therefore Existence, Life, Exo-environment, Endo-vironment, Humans, Human Senses, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Emotions, Thought, Language, Communications and Classical Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness as part of the Universe must be Mass or Energy and part of a Mass - Energy Equivalence.
They are all therefore observable and definable at a Classical Mechanical level and observable from their debris at a Quantum level of existence.
The Quantum Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness.
The Quantum existence; Quantum Interaction; cannot be sensed by Human or Classical Mechanical means. If Humans attempt to sense the Quantum Interaction they first need to bombard it with photons and since the Quantum existence is below the threshold of visible light this will cause the interaction to be interfered with by the photons and any observation made uncertain. The location and velocity of any part of a Quantum Interaction cannot therefore be determined at a Classical Mechanical level at the same time. The Quantum Interaction is un-sensed, unknown, unmeasurable, and unable to be determined as to process. The Energy debris from a Quantum Mass to Energy to Mass Interaction can; at a Classical Mechanical level; be sensed, known, measured, and be determined to indicate a likely process of creation.
Therefore everything at a Quantum level must be considered as levels of Mass into Energy into Mass Interaction.
Combined Classical Quantum Interaction
Therefore Existence, Life, Exo-environment, Endo-vironment, Humans, Human Senses, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Emotions, Thought, Language, Communications, Classical Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness and Quantum Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness as part of the Universe must be Mass or Energy, part of a Mass - Energy Equivalence and a Quantum Mass, Energy, Mass Interaction.
Matter
‘Matter’ is a Classical Mechanical and Quantum Mechanical state of Energy.
To make any type of ‘Matter’ requires the interaction of three elementary, indivisible, Energy types, an Electron and two Quarks. These can make a Proton and a Neutron and so any type of Atom.
The amount of ‘Matter’ that can be created is determined by the original Mass into Energy potential of the Interaction and ultimately the potential of the Universe.
Mass at a Quantum level is therefore the same as Charge or Energy.
The Universe is a ‘field’ of this potential Mass into Energy Interchange. A ‘Higgs Field’.
Any Mass or Charge or Energy that moves within the Universe interacts with this field of potential and changes in Charge or Energy and moves to a new state of Energy.
Architecture
Architecture; in terms of Universal Systems; that produces the product of Mind, Self and Consciousness; Idea; in a Human being can be defined as.
Existence, Life, Exo-environment, Endo-vironment, Humans, Human Senses, Brain, Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Emotions, Thought, Language, Communications, Classical Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness, Quantum Mechanical Nature of Mind, Self and Consciousness and Matter.
They are all; as the Universe; Mass or Energy, Mass - Energy Equivalences, formed from elementary Energy types from the potential field of the Universe and in constant interaction.
The synaptic knowledge life has of the process of Inanimate and Animate Interaction is Existence.
Life is the original Universe Inanimate Interaction evolved to a Biological Animate Interaction.
Within the Universal Systems Human Sensory Systems create an evolving reality of these Interactions.
The Human Memory, Mind, Self, Consciousness, Thought, Emotion, Language and Communication are therefore the point of Creation, adaptation and evolution of Universal Architecture.
Architecture has to evolve to achieve a current, contextual, technological, nature as Electromagnetic Energy returned to the Sensory Systems of Human beings to evolve new sensory inputs and outputs.
To create new Ideas.
Architecture must become only Idea, Augmented reality, Virtual reality, endless potential and possibility produced by the individual for themselves over open source communication networks.
It can change any space into another at a Quantum level by current technology.
It can utilize increasing population numbers to produce a planet wide Human Mind, Self, Consciousness that can be evolved with the minimum use of Energy, resource or environment depletion.
It can create a planetary problem identification and solution consciousness to allow re-creation.
The Universal Architecture is in current context a ‘product of the mind, this process of creation, that constitutes architecture’ through Mass to Energy to Mass interaction to allow re-creation.
