Article 001 - What is Architecture ?

What is Architecture ?

The Universe is not an intentional act. It is not a design. There is no Designer, no Great Architect of the Universe. The Universe is a virtual, random, divergent, convergent, self- generated evolving probability process.

Humans are part of this process.

Humans have evolved to sense the chaos of the Universe and develop mental strategies that produce physical products that allowed them to survive and evolve.

These  strategies with physical outcomes were Architectures.

The strategies have been; up to our current time; 2015-2100; very successful in communicating the methods of human survival and evolution.

Architects having carried out the process of establishing current context have however found that the world is facing several, entangled, transforming, issues that will alter the nature of human survival and evolution on the Earth.

These issues are.

Increasing human population, reduced land available for food and water, human enhanced climate change, the end to fossil fuel use, the end of carbon manufacturing, and the depletion of environment, energy and resources.

Architectures will need to be formed to provide strategies to these issues.

These  cannot be physical in nature unless absolutely necessary or they will cause the other entangled issues to become worse.

The Architectures must be virtual, random, divergent, convergent, self- generated evolving probability processes.

Architecture therefore currently defines itself as a Quantum, Relativistic, Virtual, tool of the human mind for establishing the nature, potential and entanglemententanglement of everything in the Universe for the purpose of survival and evolutionary development without creation unless absolutely necessary.
