The Nature of Humans. Immortals

This essay examines the Nature of Humans and proposes that they are immortals.

The Parts

Humans can be considered to be the inverse of the principle put forward by Aristotle that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’.

Humans are made of approx. 7 e+27 atoms.

These atoms are made up of approx.

2.3e²⁸ protons, 1.8e²⁸ neutrons, 2.3e²⁸ electrons.

The protons and neutrons are made up of approx. 3 quarks and as 3 gluons.

This allows for

6.9e+28 quarks + 5.4e+28 quarks = 1.23e+29 quarks.

6.9e+28 gluons + 5.4e+28 gluons = 1.23e+29 gluons.

2.3e²⁸ electrons

There are also other virtual particles around the proton and electron.

The Human being is therefore; at the scale of the universe; composed of approx.7e+27 atoms.

These are made of 2.69e+29 sub-atomic components.

The Observable Universe at the same scale has approx.1e+78 to 1e+80 atoms.

The greater nature of Humans is not therefore as a single advanced life form in the universe but as a sub-atomic density within the greater sub-atomic density of the Universe.

In considering the Human at the same sub-atomic scale as the Universe the duration of Humans can be re-considered by examining the decay times for all of the sub-atomic components forming a human being.

Universe Age to Proton Neutron and Electron Decay Time

The Universe current age is calculated at 13,820,000,000 years.

The final age of the Universe has been suggested as 10²²⁰⁰

This is the heat death of the universe.

Protons have a decay time of 10³⁴ years.

This is 17 orders of magnitude longer than the current age of the universe.

However not all protons will decay simultaneously and so this singular Proton decay is considered the outer limit of all Proton decay times.

Neutrons within the atomic in the nucleus with protons and surrounded by electrons are considered to be stable.

Free Neutrons; ionizing radiation; have a decay time of 15 minutes.

They decay to a proton, electron and antineutrino.

If the numbers of sub-atomic components, that Humans are made of, is multiplied by the duration of each then the total human existence can be established.

Human age to Proton Neutron and Electron Decay Time

2.3e²⁸ protons = 10^{34 x} 2.3e²⁸ = 2.3e+62 years existence

1.8e²⁸ neutrons = 10³⁴ x 1.8e²⁸ 1.8e+62 years existence

2.3e²⁸ electrons = 6.6e²⁸ x 2.3e²⁸ 1.518e+57 years existence

Immortal Humans

Taking the largest of these 2.3e62 years existence humans have a lifespan in excess of 2.3e+60 times their 100 year organic lifespan.

Having established the nature of humans and their duration in relation to the same scale as the universe the boundaries of human existence can be examined.

The Boundaries of Human Existence

Humans are formed in the creation of the sun, the solar system and the Earth.

Humans have a birth radius of 0.0019 light years.

Humans exist on a planet near a star.

In the Milky Way Galaxy the average distance between stars is 5 light years.

Humans have a life existence radius of 5 light years.

Humans existence can be ended by a nearby supernova explosion that occurs less than 50 light years away.

Humans have a life existence; minimum safety boundary; of 50 light years.

When the sun dies it will expand and destroy the Earth and the solar system and spread the material it, the solar system, and humans are all formed of ; atoms; out to at least the edge of the solar system.

This gives Humans a death radius of 0.0019 light years.

The Humans are also bound into a larger structure of evolving, recycled, matter in the Universe due to matter curving space time forming gravitational effects.

The Distribution of Matter in the Universe

Belief in Repetition

The repetition of existence is a subject across many Earth belief systems.

These beliefs are born out of the roots of human behaviour, sensory observation and science.

Conclusions

Humans are immortal in terms of their actual physical nature.

In considering the Human at the same sub-atomic scale as the Universe the duration of Humans can be re-considered by examining the decay times for all of the sub-atomic components forming a human being.

Taking the largest of these 2.3e62 years existence humans have a lifespan in excess of 2.3e+60 times their 100 year organic lifespan.

Humans are reborn after organic death. They have an afterlife as subatomic particles. Alternatively it can be said that they cannot be killed and merely evolve into a lesser subatomic density.

Humans are recycled by the universe to form stars and planets and galaxies.

The atomic material that humans are formed of has a potential existence area of the Milky Way Galaxy where it can be formed and recycled of between 0.0019 and 5 light years.

There is no way out of this cosmic structure area for humans in their after- life as sub-atomic particles.

Humans are destined to repeat their subatomic and perhaps atomic and organic existence until the density of the universe is so low as to reduce the possibility of sub-atomic interaction occurring.

They are trapped in Immortality.
