2013 Bond Issue: Security
District-Wide Security Upgrades
The bond issue will provide $1.4 million for security upgrades across the school district to protect students and staff. This will include:
Restricted visitor access through school offices at all sites
Visitor sign-in kiosks for background checks and photo badges
Badge entry system
Interior classroom door locks
Perimeter door security switches
More video cameras for sites and buses with portable and remote monitoring
Improved public address systems, radio, GPS
Enhanced secure entry at all school sites through their offices; badge entry systems
Visitor sign-in kiosks providing background checks & photo badges
Interior-operable classroom door locks & perimeter door security switches
