The Bartlesville Public School District is excited to finally welcome the public and families alike to an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to see Bartlesville High School’s new and upgraded facilities. An earlier Open House scheduled for mid-September was postponed to allow more time to wrap up construction work. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:15 p.m. in the Commons. This event will be complemented by guided student tours of the facilities and food provided by Sodexho.

The highlight of the construction is the new Commons area, the Freshman Academy, the new science wing and the Phillips 66 Innovation Labs. All of these projects, with the exception of the Innovation Labs, are part of the bond issue that was passed in 2013 by the community’s supportive voters.

“The additions at the high school have allowed us to house all four grades within the high school under one roof,” said BPSD superintendent, Dr. Gary Quinn. “We feel this consolidation will result in a higher success and graduation rate for our students. It is our hope that many families and community members join us for this special event to see the new facilities firsthand.”
