New Lights at Custer Stadium

In addition to the new sound system at Custer Stadium, new lights were recently erected using funding from the 2012 bond issue.

The new lights are on fewer poles, no longer located over the bleachers. The new locations will reduce noise from transformers and, along with bird spikes, should eliminate problems with bird waste from birds roosting on poles over the bleachers.

These improvements should enhance the experience at sporting events, commencement ceremonies, etc.
