Newspaper Opinion Page (UPDATED)

As the September 10 bond election is upon us, the opinion page of the local Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise newspaper, both printed and online, is carrying more and more items regarding the election. Click the links below for more:
On September 9, Sherri Wilt, the mother of a Central student and the President of the Chamber of Commerce, said the Chamber board of directors endorsed the bond issue.
On September 9, Angela Box endorsed the bond issue.
On September 9, David Austin questioned the motives behind the ads opposing the bond issue.
On September 8, David Stire, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Jane Phillips Medical Center, urged passage of the bond issue, noting it would "have a long-lasting impact on the future success of our community as a whole."
On September 8, Ginger Griffin provided a listing of reasons to support the bond issue.
On September 8, Larry Miller expressed skepticism about various aspects of the bond issue with many "maybe so, maybe not" comments, but at least he urged citizens to get out and vote.
On September 6, Stan Baugn urged voters to pass the bond for the sake of the community's future.
On September 6, Kimberly Doenges urged voters to support a 9-12 high school based on her experience at the Booker T. Washington magnet school in Tulsa.
On August 28, Keri Gardner, long-time math teacher who is now an assistant principal at Central, urged district voters to come tour the middle schools.

On August 22, former BPSD board member Barry Lowe endorsed the bond issue, citing renovating Central to retain a middle school on each side of town, being innovative regarding Madison rather than remodeling it, and the separate Freshman Academy at the high school
