This semester, we connected with our Israeli buddies through video calls, sharing stories about our daily lives. After three months apart, everyone seemed to have grown a lot! Through the screen, we were excited to see that not only had our friends gotten taller, but they also looked more confident and mature. At the beginning of the call, our principal warmly introduced Yungning’s upcoming 95th anniversary celebration to our Israeli friends.
The Israeli students shared about local environmental issues. Since they live along the Mediterranean coast, reducing plastic waste on the beaches has become an urgent task. Similarly, Yungning, located on the west coast, faces the same challenge. This common concern deepened our connection and understanding of environmental protection efforts.
Meanwhile, Yungning students enthusiastically introduced the preparations for our 95th anniversary sports event. We explained the different competitions and highlighted this year’s special torch relay. At the end of the call, we invited our Israeli buddies to join us in a fun and energetic national fitness dance challenge! The Israeli students and teachers were thrilled and said they felt honored to be part of Yungning’s anniversary celebration.
This lively exchange was full of joy and learning, and we can’t wait to meet again next time!
