Before You Begin
Gather necessary information:
Is the employee FT or PTP (Benefit-Eligible), or are they PT?
What is the last day that the employee worked?
To find out the Last Day Worked, navigate to the employee's Profile and select the Quick Links icon or the Utilities button
Select All Timesheets to find the last day worked. You will use that date in the Effective From and Terminated date fields.
Click the pencil icon to view the most recent Timesheet with hours and find the last day worked. In this case 6/28/22.
Navigate to the Team Menu > HR > HR Actions
Use the appropriate HR Action to term your employee:
Terminate FT or PTP for benefit-eligible employees or Terminate Part Time Staff for PT staff.
Click Start to begin
Select the employee and click Continue
Change the Account Status from Active to Terminated
Enter the Last Day Worked in the Effective From and Terminated date fields.
Select a Termination Reason
Upload documentation - Resignation Letter, etc.
Click Save and Continue
Edit if needed, and click Save, or if the Direct and Next Level Supervisors are correct, click Continue
Once you've clicked Continue through each of the three steps, Termination Details, Managers at Termination, and Benefits End Date, you'll see the Submit button. Click the Submit button (it doesn't matter which one)
This sends the HR Action to the Next Level Supervisor for approval before it goes to HR for processing.
