HR will need approval from your District VP before placing a job posting for a NEW position that has not existed at your location before - we will need a job description created PRIOR to any posting or job offers.
For NEW positions the process would go like this:
1. You talk to your Dist VP about your plan and get the position approved.
2. You would then work with HR on creating a job description for that position.
3. Once we have the job description, we will then point the position and give you a salary range (you should never make a job offer before this step, and you should be sure you are aware of the current pay range to offer).
4. We can post the position.
If this is a new program/new position, HR needs a pay period before the new position starts to set up appropriate GLs and job codes
So, to summarize -
* Job descriptions MUST be created for new positions before any hiring or job offers
* Always be sure of the pay range for a position before making an offer. All jobs have been pointed with a certain pay range, which we will adhere to.
* Give HR/Accounting adequate time to set up any new programs, GL's, and positions in SGA and UKG prior to someone being hired/needing paid.
